Time to Chill

Aku suka chill.

Ya know, chillin'.


It's different abit from lepak.
I do both, but I prefer to chill more.

Which sounds correct?

"Aku tengah chill kat block Zam ah.." or "Aku tengah lepak kat block Zam, ah.."

and also

"Aku tengah lepak kat Starbucks ah..." or "Aku tengah chill kat Starbucks..."

Aku pun susah nak explain, tapi for hte 1st set of sentence, whether you use chill, or lepak, it still sounds alright. But for the second one, to use chill, is better then you use lepak.

Kenapa? Aku pun tak tahu.

Maybe when it comes to chill, it's more relaxed and maybe atas sikit ah.
Lepak sounds soo... entah eh..

So, let me define this for everyone.

When you lepak, ada rokok and bual-bual je. Mungkin kacau minah, tapi normally when we lepak, its at a port, tempat biasa ah.. Kalau tak pun, tempat lepak kat town is some open space yang orang semua duduk sembang-sembang. That kinda thing.. So nak kacau minah jambu pun, she's like the friend's younger sister, or the neighbour, people that you don't quite find appropriate to kacau. (Ni sumer cara, beb.)

And when you chill, rokok ada, bual-bual pun ada, and kena tambah sekali air, maybe at some alresco place (McD pun boleh) and kat situ jugak boleh cuci mata, tengok Minah-minah from elsewhere. When you chill, usually kat town ah, tempat makan fevret ke apa ah..

So... Kalau orang ajak lepak, aku usually takyah worry nak check kocek. Check rokok je. Nak chill, kena check rokok, AND wallet.

Aku lagi suka orang duduk chill, dari orang duduk lepak. At least, those who chill, appear to be more civilised. Tak jakun macam orang kampung masok bandar. Tak barbaric. Well-dressed sikit. Masing-masing buat hal sendirik, but everything seems more, civilised.

So, do you prefer to chill, or do you lepak?
