I am writing this with great disappointment. It isn't the first time I'm saying this about mu beloved Malay community, and it won't be the last.
I hate people who are late.. Well, 15-20 mins is fine, pr when you have something to occupy yourself with.. And playing games with yourself is NOT occupying your time.
You know those large events where there's a Minister VIP and say it starts at 2 cos that's what the invitation says. It actually starts at 2.30, cos the organisers are considerate enough to think of the late-comers. And the Minister VIP comes at 3.. But of course, some people think that THEY are the VIP (as opposed to the Minister himself) and walks in at 3.30 expecting a fanfare welcome and applauding attendees, coupled with an usher to their seats at the VIP table. Fantastic isn't it?
I admit I have been late on several occasions. But I make it a point to update the person I'm meeting, just so you manage the expectation, some way or the other. Besides, it takes less than a minute to text the person. I mean, how hard can it be?
This shitty janji Melayu crap only happens to orang-orang Melayu. And the 'lateness' ranges anything from 45 minutes to more than 2 hours. OR the person at times doesn't even bother to show up.
If I could, I wanna shoot all of them people who are late. But unfortunately that leaves me with very few friends.
Just because EVERYONE knows you're perenially late, is an excuse you can be late?
Just because you're hot you can be late?
Just because you're the VIP you can be late?
Honestly, where is your integrity in these matters?
So you glitz in like a star, and everything is supposed to be ok, huh?
Well, balls to you.

It's been a little quiet
It has been more than a year since I last updated this space.
And tak tahulah, if the settings are still right, orang masih boleh baca tak..
So since last year alot of things has happened.
Firstly, to the joy and rejoice to many, AM&K and AM&FC has been closed for about 5 months now. According to close sources, it's been merely deactivated, as opposed to being cancelled.
The creator feels that closure is important, as we "don't see so much of the minah's around these days," and that "floating caps are not the in things anymore."
2ndly, I'm not riding anymore.
Gave up on that. But we might soon see me driving, or riding on a bigger bike. Heh...
3rdly, I'm Single and ready to mingle!
I'll be back on Tagged. Standby.

This would be #44.
After entah berapa lama, and tons of people actually want to know more of what's going on in my head, here's #44.
For starters, AMFC and AMK are not dead. AAC is not dead, and so are may others, Kai Stride, Rid, amongst others.
And the arguments against (or for) the malay community has become a hot topic, but it hasn't reached a point where we get approached by the ISA, and CID and what not. So let's just keep it down, alright.
Many people (me included) feel that the Malay community needs to be fixed, like its broken. Yes it needs to be fixed, but it's not broken.
The Malay community is filled with its problems, but it doesn't mean that the other communities don't have them. Just that, the incidence of these things are much higher in the Malay community.
For the last ten years, I've done volunteer work, to empower and to uplift those whom I've met in my journey, out of the poverty cycle, out of the whole negativity but it's not easy. You would literally need to kill the parents, so that the child would be able to grow to how you like them.
But that's not something that we want, do we?
The toughest challenge of changing any society is to change their mindset. Apparently all that propaganda and brainwashing that took place since the mid-1960's is having a weaker effect on us now.

Rambling's of a Mat Biker.
Amirah made me do this.
Besides, this post pun dah overdue.
It's something I should have done a long time ago.
To all the Mat Motors out there:
"We, Mat Motors of Singapore, pledge that we will ride safely. We will obey traffic rules to the best of our ability. We will spend as little time on the road by going quickly. Most importantly, we will not pillion fat chicks in short skirts, so as to provide a safe and healthy road environment for everyone."
